Inspired by the form of public wooden benches, the Mooner sofa armrests were designed to double as pillowed headrests, which further make the sofa an ideal place for napping. Considered from all angles, the interplay of hard wood and soft textiles is best seen from behind, through the sofa’s open back. The otherwise voluminous structure is then lightened by its thin legs.
