Dinesen Apartment is a showroom in Brooklyn, set within a residential building designed by architects SO-IL on Vanderbilt Avenue. The penthouse apartment was designed as a home rather than a conventional showroom, allowing visitors to explore Dinesen wood through use, touch and movement.
Wood is present across floors, walls, doors, built in furniture and the custom staircase, with Layers Oak Classic and HeartOak shaping the material experience. Furniture, colour and objects by David Thulstrup, John Pawson, Brdr. Krüger, Blēo, Kvadrat, Louis Poulsen and Royal Copenhagen add texture and domestic rhythm, creating a space where the quality of wood is understood through daily life.
